That this Council improve the timing of the traffic lights at the Woodlawn / Muckross Junction and to make any improvements to enhance the free flow of traffic.
Improvements to the traffic lights at the Woodlawn / Muckross road junction are on-going and will be completed shortly. These include the provision of a dedicated phase for right hand turners and revisions to the timing of the lights

If not yet done, I recommend "smart" traffic lights which go automatic during the late/early hours to automatically give the green light to approaching traffic if there is no other approaching traffic. It's frustrating to wait at a red light when the road is empty. Smart traffic lights avoid that.
